In my forties I’ve become more than I’ve ever known. Also giving a lot less f$cks about what others think and getting to the point where I can say I am getting to really know and love myself. Seeing the changes in my body and mind has been a ride, and I’ve worked on embracing all that is me. And in doing this, I’ve made new friends who love me for ALL that I am and it feels so good.

Happy half-birthday! These photos are such a treasure and I love your outfit in the food bank pic!

I’m nearly 46 and some things are AWESOME- I’m far kinder to myself about my appearance, and I’m much more intentional with my relationships. I feel weirdly powerful, like I can change the vibe in a room for the better or truly be of help to someone who needs something - all these years of living truly add up to some knowing.

And. Perimenopause is a whollllllle thing. All that power, I guess, balanced by a body and brain I barely recognize some days to keep me humble! Cheers to having the privilege of aging 💗
